DOMESTIC PASSENGER DEPARTURE TAX

Airports Vanuatu Limited welcomes suggestions and comments from passengers and visitors. Please use the comments sheets found throughout the terminal.
Flight arrival and departure information is displayed on flight information screens throughout the terminal. Flight announcements are generally made over the public address system. Passengers with impaired sight or hearing should advise airline staff when checking-in that they require assistance with flight information. INTERNATIONAL PASSENGER DEPARTURE TAX The departure tax is included in your ticket. No special procedures are in place. Any lost property found within the international terminal can be claimed from the Aviation Security office. Duty free items found in the lounges will be passed onto Vanuatu Customs. Passengers who lose their passports should contact the Aviation Security or airline staff. Perishable goods will be destroyed immediately by Quarantine staff. Please contact the airline you have travelled with directly for any items left onboard an aircraft.
A Vanuatu Post box is situated at the entrance to the check-in area for your last -minute postal requirements.
Limited First Aid facilities are available from the Aviation Rescue & Fire-Fighting Services staff. Passengers or visitors requiring medical attention whilst in the terminal area should advise the airline staff who will arrange for the appropriate services.
Tropicool – in the departure lounge – DVDs, clothes, toys etc., etc. Women's Association – local handicrafts. Pacific Autronics – gifts, souvenirs, clothing, perfumes, kava, etc. etc. Smoking is not permitted in any of the terminal facilities with the exception of the coffee shop/air bar.
Phone-card telephones are available throughout the terminal – outside and inside. TOURIST INFORMATION - TELEVISION A television screen in the coffee shop/air bar area provides useful information on life in Vanuatu while you are waiting for your flight or passengers.
All ground floor areas of the airport are accessible by wheelchairs, including toilets and drinking facilities.
