Air Vanuatu has check-in desks, a ticket sales office and domestic cargo handling facilities in the terminal. Unity Airlines provide a check-in area for their exclusive use. There may be weight restrictions when using the smaller domestic aircraft. Each airline is responsible for carrying out security checks on departing passengers. DOMESTIC PASSENGER DEPARTURE TAX
The local Provincial Councils have instituted a VT 200 departure tax for all domestic passengers.
Arriving passengers may collect their baggage at the arrival counter. Flight departure announcements are generally made over the public address system. Passengers with impaired sight or hearing should advise airline staff when checking-in that they require they require assistance with flight information. |
